Has anyone else noticed that in the last few months there has been a suspicious lack of activity in all fields related to studies of The Conspiracy and associated areas of interest? There wasn't even anything about Sunnydale or Jonathan in the final issue of the Weekly World News! I can't believe that nobody is talking about this, and that even I have taken months to notice!

Something's VERY wrong. It's much too quiet.

Any thoughts?

Well, be fair...with Sunnydale gone, a lot of leads have dried up. But I'm still trolling around; I refuse to be distracted by those idiotic reports of giants in Scotland.

But, you know, now I'm wondering if any of the former posters have quietly disappeared.

Well, there have been a lot of reports of strange things coming out of Scotland, lately. So, it should come as no surprise that we're hearing about some of the folks that were on the Last Bus being there.

Of course, reports of Buffy Summers have her appearing all over the place. We can discount most of them, though, as she'd have to be several places at once for them to be true.

Anyone have any info on what the military is doing at the crater that was once Sunnydale?

The conspiracy

Well, there were those rumors of the military having a secret giant underground base somewhere in Sunnydale (although the claims that it was underneath the university were obvious disinformation, come on, these people claimed the entrance to a secret military base is through a frat house! Even the military isn't that twisted). If there was anything of substance behind these rumors then in today's tough on terrorism climate, it's not surprising that any talk is shut down.

After all, research from Pew Research found that 45 percent of Americans think that freedom of speech should not apply to groups sympathetic to terrorists. (http://people-press.org/reports/questionnaires/312.pdf) So a reluctance to speak out about possible US government involvement in the Sunnydale shocker is only natural.

Since it's been brought up; anything coming up weird as to why Weekly World News shut down?

Although there were lots of "crazy" stories, I found that if you looked hard enough, there was often a kernal of truth to be found in it's pages.

Anybody have any leads on other accessable media outlets for information?

Oh, and it's good to see people back here. I had started to become worried that some of you may have went underground . . . or worse.
